The Solo plan is free for one rental unit, with no time limit. You get the dashboard, tenant application forms, lease storage, and maintenance request intake at no cost. Upgrading to Pro or Portfolio adds AI-powered features, but Solo stays free as long as you use it.
Yes. You can change your plan from the account settings page. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period. If you go from annual to monthly, the difference carries over as credit.
MagicDoor will prompt you to upgrade your plan before adding new units above your current limit. Existing units and their data are never deleted if you approach the limit. You will not be charged automatically.
No credit card is required for the free Solo plan. You will only be asked for payment information when you choose to upgrade to Pro or Portfolio.
There are no setup fees. The price shown is the full price you pay. Onboarding takes most landlords about 60 minutes and is self-guided inside the dashboard.
